What a different approach! Here's mine for comparison:

It just goes to show how two people can interpret a song in very different ways. I learned it from my Mom singing it at home and in church when I was a kid. I've always loved the song, especially where it goes to the III to vi change. It pulls at my heart. Smile

One of my favorite hymns & I enjoyed both versions. Both different but great.Nothing touchs my heart more musically than these old hymns, grew up with them & still lov'em.
Greg & B0b God bless you both & thanks for sharing such a beautiful hymn.

Thanks Bruce! I just got back from Burlington, Ontario! We were visiting one of our Associated Spring plants up there on Mainway Rd just off of Guelph Line Rd. We had a great lunch at a restaurant just around the corner from there in front of the Home Depot. Corry, PA is about 2 hours and 40 minutes from Burlington.

Wow Greg, I'm only five minutes from there,If you ever get that close again, give me a call would love to meet you. But 2hrs & 40minutes ain't really that far either.
Thanks again for your music, btw your trumpet playing is really starting to happen & sounds great on these old hymns. Bruce
