Is it safe to assume that A as pictured in the changer and B as pictured do different things? Such as A raises and B lowers? I am getting ready to rod a U12 and have never done this before. Going to need a lot of help...

Your assumption is correct. "A" section raises and "B" lowers.

Go to the Carter website , there are tons of info on rodding, and misc underside info for setting up a PSG...Bill
