The best one yet. Great Johnny Paycheck classic. There's plenty of nice licks there to steal. ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

William,
Were you this good before you stopped playing. If it would make me play like you, I might quit for a few years.
Seriously, William is one of my favorite players. because you never know what you're going to hear, he makes every song his own. The tone and the licks are always something interesting for me. I'd really like to hear him play with a band.

I got it all back ![Laughing](images/smiles/icon_lol.gif) |

Thanks for the kind words guys. No Rick you really don't want to quit thinking you will be better if you take a long break and be better when you start back. To much work getting back into it. Even the most basic things like the volume pedal was a problem for me. I almost decided to sell out again. It was just to rough. When I quit in '03 or so, I really never thought I would ever play again. I really never thought I would ever be able to afford another guitar, amp and all that goes with it. As we all know playing Steel Guitar ain't cheap!
Also back when I played full time I guess I was pretty good on Intro's , Turnarounds , and backing up a singer. I did not play many instrumentals. I think I played "Last Date" and "Steel Guitar Rag" and that was it. So doing these tunes for YouTube is different. Now because of YouTube I can get thru a few more tunes. But I never play a tune the same way twice! So who knows !
Back to this tune "Touch My Heart" the really fun part for me was the Bridge. Although I did not play but one and the guitar player played the other. You can really have some fun with the way the chords flow. Wish I could have had another shot at playing it other than the guitar playing it.
OK guys , I didn't mean to be so long winded. Thanks again for the nice words and keep watching! William |
