John, my thought at this moment is that the name you're mentioning is a mistaken entry and that we can all breathe a little easier. I clicked on the link and looked at that site and I believe it is a typographical error ... if you look in the "Living Legends" list (below the Deceased Legends list), the name of one of our deceased legends is listed as still being with us. My initial guess is that the authors of the site did not quality control or proof-read the "lists" before including them on their page. _________________ 1986 Mullen D-10 with 8 & 7 (Dual Bill Lawrence 705 pickups each neck)

That's also not true, Jim. They're all still very much alive and kickin'! Boy, it's easy to see how such rumors spread! _________________ www.JimCohen.com

Apparently, the site is relatively new. I suspect someone just made a simple error during the creation of the webpage.

Wow, I stand completely corrected, then, and glad to know they're all still with us. _________________ 1986 Mullen D-10 with 8 & 7 (Dual Bill Lawrence 705 pickups each neck)

Furthermore, based upon the price of a Carter Starter, I will NOT be buying anything there in the near future. Check Bobbe Seymour's prices for a C.S. |
