The Fender pictured In the GFI room was Gene Fields own guiyar he built while at fender.The seat is attached to the guitar, what I saw was the front neck strings was close the the fretboard so you vould play it like thumbs Carlile, or with fingers like a straight guitar, I did not ask but that is what it looked like to close ti use a bar.
