Topic: Bach's Burea (sp) Interval ? |

I know that many if not most forum going steelers were first guitar players and maybe some played guitar in the seventies.
It was kind of cool to play Burea (sp pronounced boo-ray) by Bach back then, but I only know half of it. What is the interval of the other note, since it's a melody with an interval.
I know the melody in the key of E, but can figure it out in another key.
Anybody remember it?

Yessir, nice piece. If you'd like to hear the theme expanded upon, check out the Buddy Emmons with Lenny Breau album titled Minors Aloud.
Lenny plays the Bouree as in the clip above, then they launch into a mellow 6:27 interpretation of the composition in a jazzy slower tempo. Pretty nice steel and guitar work by those 2 masters. It's titled "On a Bach Bouree." |
