I have a pre war Bakelite Rick with one tuner that was replaced before I got the guitar with a closed back tuner. Does anybody have any idea where to get one open gear tuner that would be somewhat similar to the originals? Thanks, George

One of the places you might look is at stewmac.com (stweart-Macdonald) There are others also , I believe ALLPARTS is another but don't remember.

Thanks Bill, After doing some research it looks like I would have to replace all six. The Grover Vintage Statites look like a good possibility. They would run about $200.00 for a set. [ I only paid $10.00 for this pre-war Rick from a pawn shop in 1971 ]
