Is there a better way to store pictures on my computer, other than "Pictures & Fax Viewer"?

Using Pictures and Fax Viewer doesn't isolate my pics when attaching them to E-MAIL.

Adobe Lightroom is probably the best, but expensive. Vista comes with Windows Photo Gallery. You could also look at www.picasa.com
There are many others too, that will show up in a Google search, some free.

I also like Picasa. It's free and it has all of the basic retouching tools...remove red-eye, crop, brighten, etc.
