I have a Peavey Valveking and do not like how it sounds. It has one 16 ohm Classic voiced 12" speaker also say VK 1216. I called Peavey no help (said it was my ears) but did say what ever I replaced it with it had to be 16 ohms. I want the cleanest sound I can get.

Suggestions please.

If you are looking for clean the Weber NeoMag line sounds very close to the JBL D-120F (12") and D-130F (15") of old. Nice tight bass and sparkly highs, and I like the NeoMag midrange better than the JBL's. Weber does offer 16 ohms as an option for the NeoMags but they are rated at only 75 watts. If your Valveking puts out less than 75 watts this might be a good choice.
