I had the honor of being asked to sing at his service this morning in Wichita Kansas. Dan was one of my students and was coming along mighty fine until he passed on after a short illness last Thursday night in Wichita. I'll miss ya my friend but like the Late Great Hank Williams always said, "If The Good Lord's a willin and the creek don't rise we'll see ya again neighbor". See ya on the other side my friend.

W.C., so sorry to hear about Dan. I never got to meet him that I know of, but its always sad to see someone pass on that has the same love of steel guitar that you have. My condolences to his family and this comes from all the members of the KSGA! Ray
