I bought this instrument from Rocky Hill on the forum last July, and drove from OKC to Kansas City to pick it up personally. He was the first owner of the steel and barely moved it or played it from its birthdate of 7/07 on. I've basically done the same-- maybe put five or six hours on it, tops. It's mostly been sitting peacefully in my office at work, since I didn't want to subject such a clean instrument to the caprices and wiles of my clumsy elderly cats.
I recently came across a crazy deal on a student Dekley that will be much less of a potential feline liability at home, and I just do not need two steels at this point in my "career." So, sadly, the GFI, nice as it is, must go.
If you want a starter E9th setup, you'd be quite hard pressed to beat this one for the money. This has the added knee levers from the factory to bring it to 3&4. Everything is clean and mostly in great shape. The only way you'd really even know it was used at all is a little insignificant washer / pedal bar scoring on the back legs (not visible with the pedal bar on). Even the case is pretty much perfect. You can PM me for more detailed pictures.
Asking only $700 plus shipping and, if applicable, Paypal fees. Check my signature for a good number of possible trades. I'm a sporadic presence here but I've done some good completed sales here in the past and can provide other references too. Pickup in Oklahoma City would be VERY much welcome (!!!), but I do know a good packing place if all else truly fails.
