I know nothing about patchbays. In a studio recording forum, it was explained to me that I could plug my five amps via guitar cord, of course, into the side that would "break the normal," and then I could plug my guitar into the corresponding input on the other side of the patchbay. I could also plug my tuner into the amp side. All of this so that I can beat my cramped quarters and avoid having to reach for the guitar cords coming from the back of the amps, knocking them onto the floor, etc. If what I've explained is correct, does that mean the below 8-input patchbay could, in fact, take eight different sources on the back -- or front, depending on which breaks the normal?
