I'll be selling the Carpsteel Beginner Pro guitars for the Rains folks shortly. The first one will be in soon and will be my demo model. I've been selling mainly used guitars the last year or so. Folks don't have the extra money they had earlier on due to the economy. Carr's Steel Guitar Shop is in its third year. We have very low overhead and keep cost down which we pass on to steel players all over the world. Our phone number is 601-752-2037. Free shipping is standard on all guitars and amps. Everything in stock is sold except strings at the time. Thanks and we forward to moving the new Carpsteels by Gary Carpenter.

Thanks Jim. Anyone looking for a lightweight, 21 lbs.(out of case) guitar should checkout the videos on the Rains site. 30 lbs. in case. Assorted colors with a quick turn around time on new ones. This guitar can be used anywhere from sessions to roadwork. Give me a call for more. Thanks.

The demo Carpsteel that I'll be playing and demoing should be in shortly. Since it's a demo model, the price will be reduced on it and it'll be sold as used. Dark blue is the color, 3 & 4 emmons set up, includes case also. Free shipping in USA. Email me for a price if interested. First come, first serve on the blue one. The next one will be yellow and brand new with a black neck and black logo. It'll be ordered when the blue one is gone. Thanks. PayPal, cashiers checks & personal checks accepted. I can order any of the colors that are available, in the event a player wants to order one through my steel shop.

Billy....nice playing with you in Magee this past Sat. That Nashville LTD sounded great. Question about the pedal/KL setup on the Carpsteel....can it be changed if you want to have different pulls than what comes standard? If so, how difficult would it be to do? HAL

Hey Hal, the Carpsteels are triple raise/triple lower on the changer and any combination can changed on the guitar in a matter of minutes. You sounded great as usual at the Magee show. The Carpsteel offers anything a pro model model with 3 & 4 does. Thanks.

New pics of the Carpsteel on the RAINS website. Comes in six different colors. Mine is just like the one in the top right corner, navy. Lightweight, easy to play, stays in tune and sounds like a pro model. Simple to change around set up also. Case included. My steelseat weighs more than the guitar. 112 also weighs more. Special discount available through my steel shop thru Dec. 31, 2009. Great Xmas present? 601-752-2037

Will have a like new demo Carpsteel in shortly. Color is burgundy, 3 & 4, emmons set up. Navy blue Carpsteel is sold. I was planning on keeping it for a while, but! Anyone interested in the burgundy CS, email me or give me a call at 601-752-2037. PayPal, cashiers checks & personal checks are fine. By the way, the Carpsteel is an excellent guitar for studio work also. I just done a session earlier this week and it cut through the mix perfectly. I used the guitar, NV-112 amp and a little delay, DD-3. This guitar will surprise folks. Thanks.

Billy! I've been out of the loop for a minute. Good to see you back in business with Gary. He builds some of the finest musical instruments on the planet. Both of you guys have been very good to me and I'll never forget it. I'm a Rains Man through and through, Red White and Blue. I imagine I'll have this Black Rains D10 9&5 I own now until the day they pry it from my cold dead fingers.

Those Carp Steels sound great. I wouldn't mind having one to tote out to small gigs and jam sessions. One of these days maybe.

Good to see you Billy. I moved and have a new ph# 850-307-4253 Smile

Hey Jimbo, good to hear from you again. Sorry about your mom. Yes sir, I'm glad to be back with Gary and the Rains folks. All of there products are first class and professional grade. The Carpsteels are really a surprise. Once everyone actually gets a chance to sit down and play one, I believe the builders won't be able to keep up with the orders. I've field tested the Carpsteel, in a live setting and in recording sessions and the guitar is right there. No issues at all. Stays in tune, lightweight and the 19.5 pickup is really clean in session work. The changer is even triple raise and triple lower, all pull. No tuning issues what so ever. Carpsteels come with a very nice case also. I'll be in touch, my friend!
