There's a You Tube clip from the Lawrence Welk show where Buddy Merrill plays "South" on his quad stringmaster.
Using all four necks! With bar shivers, Speedy-esque Boowahs and bass riffs!! Highly impressive!!!

Yah, I think Lawrence told him to . I'm sure L.W. would have wanted the brass, reeds to smile also if he could have figured a way to do it. As JB used to say about his somewhat grumpy face while playing..."I'm not selling toothpaste!" (or simi) |
