Please close bOb.
A few too many similar guitars for sale (and not selling) right now. I going to keep this one for a while.
The "James Bond" re-issue, #007.
Great sounding guitar, set-up by a master.
8+6, 3 knees work C6(center right raises A's 1/2 step), 5 on E9. Emmons set-up.
All metal is new, lacquer body is from about 1974.
Body has "character" weather checking dings etc., I like it more than a refinish but I'm a bitter old curmudgeon, the undercarriage is esentially new.
Sorry for the crummy photos, I'll try to do a little polishing and take some more. I put the Emmons decal on, I also have the standard badge.

Yes, it might be the only cut-tail woodneck in existence.
It is also quite a bit lighter than your average D-10 P/P. The lacquer finish, wood necks and Legrand style pedals/rack all make it much less susceptible to the effects of gravity. |

Maybe now's not the time to sell this like new push pull in an old box.
Any offers before I put it back in the rotation? |

Thanks Chris. As you know, I didn't have four of 'em I wouldn't be trying to sell this one.
It's actually a 2006, June to be exact. All the mechanics are truly like new, and the body is just beautifully aged. With the exception of the added knee lever (Center right-all factory parts, installed by a true master), everything on this guitar is original. It is also considerably lighter than your average D-10 original Emmons. |

BUMP for a great guitar.
I am the original owner of this guitar. I ordered it directly from Emmons. You may notice, the knee levers were buffed out. Just before the guitar was completed, Ron Lashley called me and said he had found two original wooden necks, and he would put them on this guitar if I wanted them. After some consideration and mixed reviews, I went with the wood necks.
This guitar has a MONSTER TONE and plays great. Although there are a few "character marks" in the body (40 years old) the guitars still looks great and is a piece of Emmons history. I believe this was the last of the double neck bodies that were found.
I paid more for the guitar than Cartwright is asking for it now, so it is a good investment for anyone who wants a Push Pull.

Hook,
A few things affect the weight. Formica is heavier than lacquer. Wood necks are lighter than metal and the Legrand style pedals don't have the heavy steel rod in the rack like the older style one do. All this adds up.
I'll try to weigh it in the case and post some numbers. |
