Custom made for Ray Hennig's Heart of Texas Music.
1980 Martin D-45 with custom snowflake inlays,pick-up,and case.
Hardly ever played.
$6500.00

That is one fine looking guitar!!! Looks like the headstock is custom made with what looks like tortoise shell veneer surface as well as the usual C.F. Martin inlay in mother-of-pearl. Beautiful!!! I bet it sounds like a million bucks. Good luck on it, I hope it goes to a good home where it will be appreciated!

Here's something worth wondering about: Is the top bracing scalloped or straight? Martin didn't start scalloping production D-45s, D-41s & similar again (and yes, HD models from the get-go, 1976-on) until 1986.

Custom Dreadnought
Serial # 425058
For Ray Hennig's
Heart Of Texas Music

According to the Martin website this serial # is a 1979 model.
