I didn’t want to hijack your for sale advertisement, so I’ll ask the question here. What are the 3 gizmos between the bridge and the tail piece on the newer, rounded side Tutbro. I suspect that they are string dampers, but do you find that a Tutbro needs to tame down the behind the bridge resonances? To put that question another way, are there noticeable sounds from that area of the coffin shaped Tutbro to the extent that one would want to damp those strings?

Bryan, this is EXACTLY the sort of question you SHOULD be asking on the for sale topic in question. There's no guarantee that Mr. Branton will see this question in Stele Without Pedals.

Thank you Brad, for your judgement call on this question. I'll include it as a question on the original advertisement.
