A lot of you pro-guys have had the rare pleasure of getting to travel and play with some of America's top recording artists. Some of the buses were olde and tattered, I understand. Some were COLD and others were too HOT!
What's the story about Danny Davis' WWII Bomber that he used for his executive travels? Certain to be a story there? Did he fly it or just ride in it with the rest of the band and Bobbe Seymour?
What about Reba's band that was lost near San Diego a few years back? They were flyin' first class, I udnerstand. Wha Hoppen? |

Never worked on the road but regarding Reba's band. Before moving to San Antonio in 1986 I worked with Paula Kay Evans in Garland. She later bacame Reba's back up singer and was on the ill fated flight. She was a talent and a ball of fire and a lot of fun to work with. Her family was first class. |

Everything is normal and civilized out on the road. As far as whatever it was you heard about what happened goes all I have to say is I don't know what you are talking about. That's the story I'm sticking with ! _________________ Bob |

Cal,
You have a gift of the pen, maybe you should keep on writing. I loved the story. _________________ Bill Bailey

Newer lease buses have great air conditioning and the level is the same throughout the length of the bus. However, I have rode in some older Eagle buses that do have windows that leak air and water and that's from age and wear from rough roads. But I love the road so much that I don't pay any attention to things like that...kinda enhances the whole road experience! |
