Thanks for the kind remarks you all. I do appreciate them. I really didn't mean to sell the cd or dvd but I'll send a copy of them to you at cost for $6.00. That'll cover my postage and material involved. I'm sure you'll get some ideas from them and I'll be happy to explain how I did the lick and give you my pedal set-up at request. My intention was to give you all ideas from my approach. The songs seem to be commonly played in most bands. Ted |

Charlie, to answer your question, they are the same fellers. The close friend of mine on bass, is Reggie Brown. Buddy used him with his concert when he came thru Dallas/Ft Worth area. Reg also played with Ray Price 2 yrs and Hank Thompson for 7 yrs. The drummer is Dick Dunn, Worked with Charlie Pride 14 years. LD on geetar, worked with Jonny Paycheck a few yrs. I sure had to be on my toes. Scott was a local boy. |

Ted, thanks for being a good internet mate of mine for a few years now, and also thanks for the dvd you kindly sent me. Am slowly picking up a couple of your great licks. I just love your style. In my opinion you have developed "Your" style. I love your knee lever work, if I remember rightly you said you use the 2nd lower on the 2nd string alot. Great playing mate...and nice Axe too

Ted, I received them yesterday, late pm and IMO, they are just great! That was quite a contest that your band won in Nashville. Ted, does your LVK, flat the B's? You have, IMO, developed your own style and I love it. I don't suppose you have any instructional material of your own do you? |

Charlie, glad you like the material. Thanks for the kind remarks. After I have a carpal tunnel surgery, I will seriously consider making a lesson type cd.
Yes, I do lower the 5th & 10th strings 1 fret on a floor pedal. I lower it 2 frets on another floor and the 6th lower the string also on an upper knee. I lower the 5&*6th by finagling my left leg a bit. It works! I hope the dvd & cd give you some ideas. Ted |
