What happened to Don S. Davis?

Anybody heard from him lately? He just stopped posting here about a year ago.

Listening to Walter's "Clip of the Week" got me thinking about the few links to the past we have left. Billy Tonnesen is a treasure trove of information and stories about the pre-pedal days of Boggs, Byrd and others. So is/was Don.

Don made the move from performer to producer, like Jerry Kennedy. I'd like to ask Don if he ever worked with Buddy Emmons, also.
