Anyone know who plays the non-pedal steel for David Church & Sidtrak. The band was on RFD-TV, Midwest Country Show, last Saturday 28th. Hank Sr. music. The steel player sounded great. Any ideas? |

Do a search here on the Forum. It was just talked about not long ago. I believe he's a plumber that plays for David periodically.

Just received an email from David Church. He was kind enough to send a fast reply.
The non-pedal steel player was Dennis Pardoe. |

I made a similar inquiry a few weeks ago. I saw Dennis playing the heck out of some Don Helms licks on Youtube. He has got the Hank Williams sound down perfect. Someone said he was a custodian at a high school in hs home town, somewhere in Virginia.
He is a great player and I hope to see more of him. I play non pedal steel and love the style of Don Helms and Herb Remington. _________________ "Shoot low boys, the're ridin' Shetlands" |
