With Christmas rapidly approaching........now's the time to be looking for things to cheer everyone up!

For those of you most interested in preserving the playing life of pedal steel guitar.......you might be interested in acquiring for this Xmas Season, a beautiful card of Santa playing a generic pedal steel, accompanied by two of his little friends.

Now, I realize that pedal steel isn't where it's at for all Forum members, so for those of you that prefer DOBRO/Blue Grass music, there's another beautiful Xmas card of Santa standing and playing a hub-cap Dobro g'tar. He also is pictured with his accompaniment section.

For you in the Hawaiian crowd, Santa is also featured playing a FRY PAN with two more of his little friends.

Now Santa can sing and play rhythm geetar as well, and of course, like some of you Banjer pickers, Santa does that as well. The question has been asked as to whether any of us also play fiddle. Well Sants does in this one of a kind Xmas Card package.

Bright and colorful. each card is an original from paintings by none other than the Famous Billy Robinson from the days of Red Foley and the Grand Ole Opry and more recently, the fella that does all of those string pulls with his fingers on his Dekly
steel guitar. I believe Billy is also a Steel Guitar Hall of Famer..........

I wouldn't let this opportunity to promote your favorite instrument, the electric Hawaiian Steel Guitar......slip by without grabbing up a hand full of these great musical Xmas Cards.

Just send along your check for $15.00 for a set of six along with $3.00 for postage and handling, to Billy Robinson, P.O. Box 1255, Gallatin, TN 37066

I've always wondered about that old Christmas Carol "Deck the Halls" which has the line "Don we now our GAY apparel" What's with that? Do they want us to wear pink slacks or something?........JH in Va.

Jerry, I can just imagine you in pink slacks, no, on second thought, I don't want an image like that running around in my head............
A fellow could get a full body shiver with thoughts like that.
Haha

You should have mentioned them earlier, Ray. I already stocked up on Santa's Workshop cards from the State Railroad Museum. Maybe next year. Winking

It all started with the way Roy Clark sang "just happy, and gay like a clown", on Hee Haw, about 40 years ago.
