Ja, it kind of looks like someone attempted a Maverick upgrade of sorts.....

It appears to be a single finger axe, like a push or pull, like the old Marlens.

I think the decimal point is in the wrong place.

hey pete...remember the steel you sold me in 1970(practically gave me, that is)...sometimes a funky little steel can be the beginning of an interesting(?) career! thanks...i think.

Far be it for me to hijack the thread, but yes Chris, I'd say both our careers have been -- and continue to be -- more than interesting. I'd love to have a dozen more pedal steels at that price (wasn't it something like $75-100?). I'd start a bunch more kids. We need 'em.

thanks, yes, pull-release.

It certainly is appropriate in my estimation. That's what I did to my hair when I tried to rebuild my Marlen.

Maybe the builder of this guitar used the CD that's for sale here

I phoned the seller a few days ago, but I didn't ask the right questions (concerning the origins of the instrument).

Es ist alle fausch!!! My German is terrible after 50 years of not speaking it. It is the month when you ask, Wan kompt der Weinachtsman? Mitt der rotte ansug. Just a little humor.

Hey Ronnie! It's been 50 years since my one year of German in Jr. High, in Independence. I only remember a few swear words!
I think we used to play football against Brunswick!
