Pedal Steel Guitar by Winnie Winston & Bill Keith is GREAT. I am borrowing this from my friend Bent right now, and going through it is very enjoyable. It walks you through tablature at a good pace too. I love this book! http://www.amazon.com/Pedal-Steel-Guitar-Winston-Keith/dp/082560169X

Also, I hear Mickey Adams' book is really good. Haven't seen it yet, but I'm really tempted to buy it. I've heard good things about it. Apparently it's a huge book. Get in touch with Mickey; he's on the forum here!
