Hi Ken Thanks for the Information on the Nov 2nd show and the Directions. I will be there Satuarday but I will not be there Sunday as I feel it is to much pressure on me and I get to involved and up set when I mess up.So I will try it this way and see what the results are.I don't need another heart attack so I'll cool it.

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone in Kannapolis. I encourage everyone to come out and join in the fun and fellowship.

Hi Sam, I know what you mean! I use to get shook up, and still do, playing around other steel players. Just remember we get together to have fun and share our love of the steel guitar and "steel" licks from each other! I just try to have fun with it and let the mistakes roll off my back! This should be relaxing not stressful but I know first hand it can be both! Simply put, the Jam is not a contest, enjoy.. you are among friends and you can't go wrong.

I know this Jam will be one to remember.. make your plans and come on out and join in the fun. You will not meet a nicer bunch of folks.

I need to say this: Everyone works very hard to put on each MASGA event. Lets do our part to show our appreciation and support. I have thoroughly enjoyed every MASGA event that I have attended. I know ER and the MASGA appreciate your support. Hope See you there!

All The Best,

Jerry Fleming

E. R., I plan on being there and bringing some friends...Sure appreciate your hard work on this event, and if there is anything I can do to lend a hand, I certainly will. We have a load of extension cords, etc. that we have used at previous events, and I will have them with me if you need them. I sincerely appreciate your effort and hard work... thanks again.. See you in four weeks!!

Hi J.J., bring your steel and join in! Also a note to you and others who may read this post, please contact steel players that you know who may not be on our mailing list. When I started the MASGA almost 2 yrs ago, I started calling every steel player I knew in the area and they would say "Do you have so
and so's name and #?" and it went on from there. I never called much past the Charlotte
area and I know if you guys out in your area
start calling, you'll find out about many steel players right in your backyard you did'nt know about. Please try to get some of these new steel players to come out to Kannapolis and support E.R Chandler, Joe Smith, The MASGA and others in Kannapolis Nov 2/3. You'll have a great time and meet alot of wonderful people you didn't know loved steel guitar in your neck of the woods!
Please forward any new names, addresses and phone #s to Ken Latchum to be added to our mailing list and encourage those you talk to to do the same. You won't believe how many will come out of the woodwork. Thanks for you help and looking forward to meeting you all in Kannapolis. Skip

Hope to see some new faces and steels that weekend. Guys, contact any steel players you may know west of Charlotte. We don't have many pickers past I-85 West, and i'm sure there are a bunch out there who would like to participate. Thanks, Skip

GREAT NEWS!! I have been notified that Mr. ER Chandler (our promoter for the Kannapolis Jam) has made arrangments for a Sat Nov 2nd afternoon seminar with instructors being Mr. Mike Calaway and Mr. Jerry Fleming. We would like to have a good showing for this seminar as this is a service for our membership and guest. This seminar is provided by our own members. Make your plans to attend now. Seminar should start at 2pm and should last for 1-2 hours.
Thanks
