pedal problems maybe??

What is/or are the symptoms of a failing, (emmons) foot pedal. I am trying to find out why I am getting "volume spurts". Could it be the pot?

Hey Bob. It could be the pot starting to get bad, or it could be the string around the pot that is slipping. I really don't know but maybe this will help you somehow.
