I have a 12-string Thomas PSG that I have been playing as a 10 string for 2 years, trying to learn the basics. I now want to do something with those two lower strngs. The guitar was originally setup as an extended D9 guitar, and after checking out a lot of info on the forum, I've decided to switch it back to that (as opposed to universal tuning). As my current copedent is pretty standard 10 string E9 (ok, really D9, but you get the picture), can anyone suggest a copedent that will be pretty intuitive as I add those extra LOW strings? The guitar is 7p/5k, but I'd be happy to use only 4 or 5 strings to keep things simple for now.

Just add a low F# and D to your D9. Add a pull on your 2nd pedal to raise the 11th F# string to G, along with your other F# to G pulls.

I agree with b0b 100% (as usual). I love that 11th string pull, but am wary of having pedals of knee levers move the 12th string and having it be unstable...
