Jay Dee,
Great video!! I've had my copy for about a week or so and have managed to learn a few of the medium tempo tunes and some of the liks. One question that comes to mind. I have noticed on most of the steel parts on your recorded CDs that it sounds like you are using a chorus or possibly a little delay. Is this what you are using or is it just coming straight out of your amp? I notice it more on the Desert Rose recordings than on the Bakersfield Bound CD. Don't want to pry too much into your professional secrets, but I was just curious. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to put this video together. I've enjoyed your playing since I first heard you play with Gram Parsons. |

Jay Dee,
I always wanted to pick your brain but never got the chance. I ordered one of these video the other day and "Bingo" now I can. Now if you can find a way to package all the talent and skill in your next video I'll be set. I have always enjoyed your playing since the Buckeroo days.

Jay Dee. I bought your video and love it.
I am wondering which knee raises your F#'s and which knee lever lowers your 2 & 9 string? They are on knees aren't they?

Danny, thanks for ordering the video. I am glad you are having fun with it. I raise my F#s with my Rt-knee-RT, and lower the 2nd and 9th with my rt-knee-left. JayDee. |

Jay Dee I also wanted to thank you for making this video. It is a very revealing and informative video on your style. I already have found some new places where I can incorporate some of your licks into my band sets. These kind of videos open alot of new doors to playing for the steel guitar community. I am enjoying it very much. I hope you can do another. Great video. |
