I have ripped tracks from a CD to hard drive.
When I try to attach a track from the CD to an E-mail a "BAND IN BOX" screen pops up.
Could someone please tell me the correct procedure for attaching a track to an E-mail?
I appreciate your effort. MAX

Thanks Leroy: My E-mail is thru Outlook Express.
I may add that I was able to send the Track as attachment for awhile but, then I must have done something wrong and This BANK IN BOX screen comes up all the time. Thanks. MAX

Max;
Find the folder where the ripped files are saved and open it as a small window. Position it to the side of a new email message window. Drag the file you wish to attach and drop it into the message body of the new email. It will become an attachment with the file name and size shown in a new "attachments" field.

It is entirely up to both your ISP and your recipient's ISP, and the email systems of both, as to how large of a file you can send or receive via an attachment. It also depends on the security settings setup in your email client as to whether or not you can send or receive attachments. Check your options for outlook Express.

I don't know why BIAB would intercept an mp3 you are trying to attach, but software programs can do weird things sometimes.
