Hello Dave,

I'm assuming that you mean Mickey Adams book "Beginner's Guide to Mastering the E9th Pedal Steel Guitar"

It's about 90 pages plus appendixes (takes it over 100)

As a beginner I think that the book is really good. Mickey starts at the beginning, both with theory and with exercises, and then steps it up!
