Red and natural beauty ZB custom for sale with case.
The guitar is with Greg Jones in Ohio waiting for your set-up( 8&5 only. anything other will be extra).
Case in good condition and shipping from Greg to you
is extra. I have attached my pics as you can see the
guitar is in excellant shape and has that ZB tone.Pay no attention to the fact it has no fingerboard on the C6 neck. These pics are before I sent it. Greg will make it look even better.

Dave I would love to give you more pics but I don't
have the steel to take pics. I can assure you the underside when Greg is through will be sweet. The finish is also sweet. Must have been a closet guitar.

Chuck, that is without a doubt one of the prettiest ZBs toever grace this planet. I have its half-twin. By half-twin, you know I am talking about my red SD-10 (#0093) that had to be refinished to look almost as good as yours. I believe that the birdseye maple in your ZB is even prettier and more highly figured than mine. I hope that you aren't having to sell it due to hardship in the family.
Anyway, hope that you sell it soon and take care, my brother.
Duncan

Brother Duncan it's good to hear from you. I would love to keep this one but... Thanks for all the nice
comments on the ZB but I have to give credit to Zane.
He made great sounding and looking guitars that stand the test of time. They weight a ton and carry
a ton of tone. Somebody buy this before I talk myself out of it. Oh Well

Wow-ZB lust.
I thought Steve T. got this
on day one of the sale. If I
didn't have my 1st ZB still in
line for a redo at Greg's, and a
spousal cure for GAS-(guitar
acquisition syndrome)-still in
effect I'd jump. Good luck Chuck.
What an outstanding looking ZB.

Hi Chuck. From one of the Jerry's.
You and Duncan were the 1st 2 guys to
welcome me into the wild, wacky,
wonderful, world of ZB's. Yours is
stunning.
If I wasn't still under a steel
guitar embargo at home, I'd have
grabbed this one. My D10, 8+7,Brumley
/Texas made is in the queue at Gregs.
Good luck with the sale. I'm sure
someone who'll really appreciate the
uniqueness of a ZB Custom will give this
a good home.

Jerry, I would have to be blind not to see how beautiful Chuck's ZB would be on my back porch, on the dock, in my living room, at church and many other secret places that I could think of. I have coveted Chuck's red ZB since he first bought it and showed me some pictures. This makes it even more painful since I previously sold my blue ZB D-10 8x5 to a person, or party who shall remain nameless for the present time. But, that could all change if I get really wound up.
Anyway, folks, I can personally vouch for the sound of this serial number of ZB. My #0093, which is actually 10 numbers younger than Chuck's and made during, I believe, the first year of production after Tom Brumley took over the company, is the finest sounding instrument, not just pedal steel, but of any instrument I have ever played. (And remember, my other steel is a Fulawka) You know how everyone raves about the sound of the first year LDGs, well this is, in my sometime twisted and chemically imbalanced brain, the ZB equivalent of a first year LDG.
Oh, and Jerry, when I told my wife that you thought this ZB would look wonderful on our back deck she said "Tell Jerry to mind his own business"...ahhhhh... wimmins, where would we be without 'em.
Have a wonderful night wherever you are out there in ZBLand,
Duncan
P.S. Jerry, I haven't forgotton about the shirt, I just haven't done a new batch in a long while.

We've got no economic recovery if this and a certain Scranton D-11 ZB go unsold at these asking prices.

Ben, truer words have rarely been written on this forum. Times are indeed dark, economically speaking.
Have a beautiful day in La Crescenta, my friend.

Ditto that Ben. Hi Dunc....didn't mean to get your Mrs's fired up. Mine just uses the blunt end of my extra large BJS bar to put indentations in my head when she sees me in the for sale section.-lol
Take care gentlemen. Oh yeah--good things come to those who wait...so the Tie Dies will be great whenever ya do 'em. Sorry about 'thread hijack' but this will do the bump for a beautiful steel. Semper Fi!
