I'm posting this on the forum for a friend of mine. Please call him with any questions and/or negotiations. If you cant reach him, I will attempt to answer any questions as I can find the time.

This guitar is a Dekley D-10 8 pedals, 4 knee levers. It's heavy, but it does sound incredible. I have played it several times in Branson, MO on different occasions. The model name may be Slimline and it would have been built in the late 1970's or early 1980's.

A little more info and more photos are on this post from a few years ago.

http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=135929&highlight=

Asking price is $1500.00 plus $100.00 shipping. If you would like to add insurance, that is up to you and would be extra.

This really is a nice guitar, especially for practicing in your home or a "sit-down" gig, where (honestly) you wouldn't have to move it all the time.

But it is a solidly built guitar and really does play and sound great.

Mostly Emmons setup, I dont remember exactly, but it seems like the lever to lower E's are on the inside right. I had to remove the right outside lever (lever only, not the mechanism)to play it, to make room for my knee, but all the parts are there and appear to be all original.

More pics coming soon.

Please Call Caleb at 417-234-1424 or me at 480-259-8530.

Thanks God Bless!!!

Just to clarify, this guitar predates the SlimLine Dekley. The main differences are that the SlimLine has extruded aluminum corner blocks for the legs, wood/Formica on the end plates, and is a little "slimmer". Wink

These Guitars can accomodate up to 11 pedals and 10 knee levers. They are pre Drilled and machined To Accept these. You Don't need aftermarket Pickups on these guitars, They Sound Great just as they are. This was a Very well thought out guitar when it was built by some very talented people. Its Heavy, but its been my experience if you want great tone, Timbre and sustain, Weight is one of the things you must deal with. This is an excellent intermediate - Pro level Guitar for somebody and it is expandable. There is a support Website and forum for these Guitars at http://dekley.com/index.htm Being a Dekley Owner Qualifies you for membership.

Thank You Gentlemen!!!

Here are some more photos...

In looking at the photos a little closer, the outside lever RKR is not yet re-attached, but you can see that the crossrods and bell cranks are there. The lever is probably still in the case but I will confirm with Caleb. Yes, the hardshell case is also included. I will try to get pics of it as well.

I am also not sure if picks, bar and volume pedal are included, I will confirm this with Caleb too.

Thanks!!!

Ok, Caleb has decided to add a bar, a set of picks, some cables, a cover and a leg bag. No volume pedal will be included.

Here is a pic of the case.

Thanks Duncan. I would like to reiterate that this is a great sounding and great playing guitar. No, it's not as light as a Carter, but it will serve you very well.

In looking at the pic of the case I do see that 4th knee lever. So it's all there.

Thanks,
Michael T.

Machael I misread your amount you want for this guitar, I told him it was $1,250.00 and he agreed to buy it for that price with $100.00 for shipeing total of, $1,350.00, if you take this price he will buy it, for that price, or I can get you to together and see if he will pay more./
