I also have no dog in this fight, but the guy lives pretty close to me so I stopped by and played it. Turns out the serial number is 0002. I don't know how Mr. Marrs numbered his guitars, but it's possible it was the second one he built after Sho-bud. It is in perfect mechanical shape, good cosmetic shape, and plays pretty good. Nice guy too.

Maybe this post should be in pedal steel since no one on the forum is actually selling the guitar, but it's just a tip on a nice early Marrs.
