I have this currently up on Ebay for $950 or best offer.

It's also up for sale locally and through The Gear Page forum, and I'd be happy to sell it here as well.

Up for sale is a Fender Deluxe 6 lap steel; the pots date to 1951. The instrument is in very good condition; it has its share of nicks and scratches, but the electronics work perfectly and it sounds amazing. This is a fairly rare specemin with six strings (as opposed to eight) and in the less common walnut finish. The pickup is loud and clear and the pots both work. The case is in similarly excellent condition and the original keys are included. The blue fabric on the bottom is in nearly-new condition.

Shipping is $30 via Fedex; pickup from Oradell, NJ is free (and encouraged). No international shipping - no exceptions.

A quick bump, and a reminder that I'll consider offers.

The scratched wood isn't really too bad, and the chrome is in really nice shape. What a handsome instrument.

I followed your signature link to the Valco pages. thanks for this resource. You're doing some nice work there.
