Anyone have the problem with their Morrell 8 string pup not picking up all the strings.? What fix does anyone have?I love the little Roy alot, what can I do?

Buy a different brand.They will not honor the warranty.At least they would not for me.All they did was try and double talk me.But as i have said before after 50 years of playing for a living i know a defective,or sorry pickup when i run across one altho i never did until i bought the 8 string Morrell.Tracy |

Dwight, these are actually 6 string pickups. The first and eighth strings do not pick up well at all. Jerry Wallace will wind you a nice one. Throw that lipstick P/U in the trash! |

I have 2 of these and one has the problem . My brother in law has one that sings to high Heaven. I have had the GBoard and thought it was too pretty to be rough-housed and it kept going out of tune while playing, I was thinking about putting a rewound Fender Stringmaster pup in side. Now that should be perfect. What say you all, Forum?
