Is John back playing again? A few years ago, in Akron, Ohio, where Pure Prarie League was doing a show, I asked Craig Fuller, what ever happened to John, and he said that John had decided to become a engineer.(I assumed, related to studio work) It would be great if he was back, touring with the band again!---Jake Jacoby

Hi,

In Jr. High, my friend's father managed Pure Prairie League. We watched them rehearse in his basement. We used to get free albums for helping to clean my friend's pool or put the pool cover back on. Got to see them perform a few times in their early days. Lots of music from that time period has lost it's luster but the first PPL album still really sounds great. Later I moved to Eugene Or and always wondered if they had been there also, with their lyrics about the Mackenzie River.
