I bought a Remington D-10 last fall and I now want to have it refinished, first however, I want to find and record the serial number. I can't find it on the guitar.

Does anyone know where Herb put his older D-10's serial numbers?

Les:

I have a D 8, and if there is a serial number I haven't been able to find it; I would be interested to know if and where one might be;

Good Luck

I do not know the answer to your question, but I do know that some six string guitar manufacturers will place numbers under the bridge assembly, and on one guitar I have seen, there was a penciled production number under the tail stock, written directly onto the wood prior to assembly.

I have the the guitar stripped right down and can not see any evidence of a serial number.
