Mike's music theory book (music theory in the real world, available through Mel Bay) is the most concise, clearest and best explanation of theory I've ever seen (and I've tried a lot of them). For me, the mysteries are now revealed and I'm quickly "getting it." The simple "ear training" examples for intervals and explanation of chord building are worth the price of admission. BUT the "pedal steel supplement" really SEALS the DEAL.

Thanks Mike. Great stuff. Great.
