Got this beautiful mid 70's Sho-Bud LDG as an estate sale. It's got the Emmons set up on the pedals and knees, with the LKL raising E's to F, LKR lowering the E's, RKL raising the 1st. to G and lowering the 6th. to G, and the RKR lowering the Eb to D and the D to Db. It's in excellent shape with just a few bar dings and has mellowed to an almost tobacco colour. It comes with a Harold Leach pac-a-seat. I’m asking $2000. USD for the guitar and the seat. The guitar has also had the once-over by our best local tech, Doug Aman. The stool is a locally made stool by our old departed friend, Harold Leach. You can reach me anytime on my cell at 403-473-7450. Notice, correction on the phone #. Obviously, I don't phone myself enough.

From what the pictures reveal to me, it looks like you have the most desireable LDG---the first year '73 with barrels behind two-hole pullers. Your price is very reasonable. |

I'm going to revise this deal a little bit because of circumstances. I'm pulling the stool out of the deal because of shipping issues. The other thing that's come up is some people have asked about trades with this. I'm selling this guitar as an estate sale for the widow of a friend of mine and would like to get cash for the sale rather than have to deal with other merchandise. So the deal is, $2000. USD cash for the guitar, no trades and no stool. This guitar is in excellent shape and is functioning well. |

This is one of the nicest Sho-Buds I've
seen in quite a while. It plays very smooth
and precise with little cabinet flex.
It has been serviced properly without
excesive use of lubricant.
This is a great buy and should not be
passed up. If I was to buy another Sho-Bud
this one or one in the same shape would
be the one. But for now if I buy "just one
more steel" I'm in trouble. |
