The New England Country Music Society is having a Grand Opening of its new museum, located at 71 Faulkner St, Billerica,MA on September 14, 2002. There will be live music at the gazebo across the street from the museum, from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M., featuring many performers, including Johnny White, Angela West and Band with Dave Young, Dave Foley, Eddie Cunningham, Cindy Lane, Mary Lynn, Bett Ann, Dusty Cal Witham and Family. I play non-pedal steel (Gibson Console Grande triple neck) for The Westernaires, and we'll be opening the show. If any forumites come to the show, please say hi, I'd like to meet you.

Hey Rich.....Hal Higgins here...I'm originally from ME and I did a lot of playing in your area of the country....late 60's & 70's....with Dick Curless, John Penny, also know Johnny White and worked with him on occasion. Tina Welch (Curless) was a joy to work with, too along with Bella Lee.......If you happen to see any of them at your gathering....plese give them my regards.........HAL |
