Oh, even better than that, Rick! My wife has this peculiar notion that every time we don't pay to go somewhere or do something, we're actually "saving" money and that then we can "spend" that "saved" money on something she would like to do! Why right now, she's planning a trip to India with the money we didn't spend when we didn't buy a Mercedes. I said, hey, why stop there? We didn't buy a vacation home in the Hamptons, either. Just think what we could do with all that money we've saved up!
