For the last two years, I've been playing with a band playing the jazzy swing/schlager music that was popular in Sweden in the '30s and '40s. Most of the songs we play were made popular by Swedish artist using translated lyrics of the original American songs. Although we sometimes play the Swedish version, the majority of the songs we play are with the original lyrics.

Here's a song from the '30s made popular by Ella Fitzgerald and Benny Goodman - "Did You Mean It?" This is from a concert a few weeks ago. I'm on steel playing a C6-ified S10 Sho-Bud through a Fender Princeton Reverb amp.

Hope you like it.

NB: the quilt backdrop was not our choice of decoration.

Thanks! I appreciate the kind comments. It's a great band to be a member of and the songs are real fun and challenging to play. We also have a couple of uptempo Les Paul songs on the set list that really gets the band and audience going.

Rick: My "Freckled Blondie" Sho-Bud is a mighty fine guitar with great sustain and tone. It was refurbished and converted to a C6 setup by Ricky Davis and John Coop. The original foot pedals were shaved down to be more like the pedals on my Fulawka.
