I know what people would like to pay for this one. I guess I'd like to know how much its really worth. Not a low-ball,Ebay price, but its real value. I had it built for me, and took delivery in april of '08. $3200 with tax is what I payed.5knees, 4ped.Im gonna have a 700 built with some black walnut i have.I was asking $2500, and was offered $1500......OUCH!!At that price,I'll keep it. I may be broke, But I cant justify that kind of hit. Or am I way off base? just asking

That's a beautiful guitar you have there, Ryan. I have one, too. Must be the economy. Generally speaking, the value of a guitar, (or anything else for that matter) is what someone is willing to pay. However, I don't blame you, $1500 for that guitar is not even in the ballpark.

So Bill is gonna use your lumber to build a guitar for you. I can't wait to see it. He's an amazing builder. Rick

Thanks Rick! My cousin is giving me a piece of black walnut. spoke to Bill, he said that it would work well. Thought about a natural maple top with a walnut front and neck. Or the whole thing walnut? My fulawka has Rosewood front and neck, natural top. I really like the look. Should be interesting.

Hey Ryan...If you decide to let it go for $1,500 send me an email.....

Seriously, That offer is an insult, I would talk to Bill and get a better idea of what a fair price would be.

If that was an extended E9th or I was in the market for another single 10, I'd have no problem paying your asking price. That's a great guitar - that's for sure... with no wait! Good luck with your sale.

Ryan, your asking price is not far off the mark. If I didn't already have three "Willies" I'd take it off your hands in a heartbeat.

I also know Bill first hand and anything he and his son builds, is always a work of art. I love to go to his shop and see all the new ones in the works. I'm glad I'm not going to buy a new one (aat least in the near future), the hardest part is picking a color. Their craftsmanship is top notch.

Regards,
Geo

$2,500 is a very fair asking price for this guitar.
The guitar is in new condition, no waiting time, and would save a buyer several hundred over the cost of a new one...
