I read a long while back that someone had one. I couldn't find the post using search.

So any opinions on a SX resonator?

Thanks!

Haven't had one yet but the pricing has been a major temptation for a while. I have had numerous Agile and SX instruments and have been amazed at the bang for the buck they deliver.

Thanks Keith!

I had a fretless short scale SX bass that was amazing and I have two SX lap steels.

My hunch is that they would make a good resonator.

Good to hear that you have had good experiences.

I am getting a SX jazz box next. Just waiting till they come in next month.

Then it will be time for a resonator.

Dave,
Here is mine, its a round neck but just the same. I bought it on fleabay for not much money, have a listen and see what you think.

Still fitted with the old strings (well I am a Scotsman)

Thanks James,
I like it.

Of course your playing would make anything sound good.
Thanks for the link on youtube!

I'll have to add the Reso to my list.
1.SX jazz box
2. SX Reso

Heck, I may even have some money left over to buy a case.

James,

Wow. Using the cheapest resonator guitar made, purchased third-hand, with somebody else's old strings on it, recorded in your living room using just a Zoom H-2, you have created a work of remarkable beauty. You are an inspiration to me. Thanks for posting the link.
