The main room will hold 1200 people seated, and is the room the steel guitar jam and show will be held in.. The show starts on Saturdy at 10 am and will continue through the day until 6 pm., and then with a country show featuring the club members and some super singers/musicians. Please contact me for full details, directions...Jam is also held on Sunday...

Hi Bowie: I appreciate all the hard work you are doing to bring us this great event (JAM & Show) for all our Steelers and friends. I know it will be a great event as was the last one you promoted. I know for those that did not make the last one will be in for a pleasent surprise. The beautiful facilities being provided for this event are beyon expectations. I just hope all that see this "post" will be making their plans to attend this early fall Jam and show. See and keep up with all the information and events of the MASGA at www.masga.org

Bowie & Ken,
I plan to be there, and hope that I have some new stuff to show..At least I'll be able to "STEEL" some licks from everybody. I hope that all of the regulars are there.

As Always looking forward to the Wilson jam. Now that you are the big "P" Ken...does this mean you will not be showing us your skills anymore????(HEHE) Let me tell ya something my friend....Sunday morning I was standing at the door listening to you play. It was the first time I heard or even saw you sit behind that steel. What you played was smooth and from the heart and everyone could see that. I just wish you would play more. I heard a couple licks in there that I am bound and determined to "steel" from ya the first chance I get. Oh, by the way, I played my little gig Friday night down here in the Smithfield area and guess who the lead guitar player was... SKIP MERTZ. He played that Tele as well as he plays steel. Did a fantastic job and made the gig easier for me and a lot of fun. Imagine that...the guy that has taught me so much on the steel was playing lead guitar and sitting right beside me. It was a honor. Deb and I got up to do a little singer and ole Skip jumped right on that steel and took good care of us and made our stuff sound good. HMMMM is that the way my Mullen is suppose to sound?????Bowie... thanks for putting the Wilson show together and Deb and I look forward to seeing you there. Hope I can bring my brother down from Virginia. He is a great Singer of Haggard and Conway and that steel sound drives him crazy. Bob... I am looking forward to hearing the new stuff on that Carter. You sure got it soundin good brother. Until the jam...take care and God Bless you all.
