From what I've been reading...
A loud 100 watter with a great clean channel w/zero breakup.
Cons - Heavy, and a lousy reverb, which can be upgraded to an Accutronics Z-8DB2C1B reverb can.
I ask because these always go for $200 and under on the bay! |

FWIW, I've got a similar model, the FM 210R, which I believe is no longer in production. The reverb was really wimpy so I changed out the tank. Now I'm drenched in reverb with the Tele and have plenty for the steels. These are solid-state amps and will never have 'that tube sound', but for the price I think they're great. The clean channel on mine is squeaky clean and yes, it's a little on the heavy side. If I had it to do over (and I guess I always could), I'd have gone with the 212 in the first place.
