I am looking to buy a used Asher Electro-Hawaiian Model 1 - i.e. not the most recent Ben Harper signature model (I know one of these is listed in the For Sale section, but it's not what I'm looking for.) Surely there must be someone out there that is just tired of their old Asher and has been waiting around for me to offer to take it off their hands?

If you can live with a single pickup, I have an Electro-Hawaiian Junior to sell. This is the original model made by Bill Asher himself in 2006: alder body, tobacco sunburst, Duncan '59 humbucking pickup with coil splitter, Kluson tuners, nice hardshell case. I'm not playing it much since I got the Weissenborn. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get you some photos. |

Ben, I don't know what you're looking to spend, but Elderly has one with a case for sale - 'New, but shopworn (several dings and some chipped finish)':

Mike,
Thanks for the tip - I'm considering that, but I was hoping to do a little better price-wise. Anyone? |
