This what I have to start with,The body appears to be the 4th neck of a Quad.
All I need to start are a nut, that I can make, pickup covers and 3 legs.
I'm thinking of at least 2 or maybe 3 palm pedals.Any one have ideas where I can get palm pedals or ideas on making my own??
How about pickup covers?
How about the legs??
This will be ment for old traditional music.
All ideas will be appreciated so jump in and help a poor boy out please...Thank you...PJ...
Progress,or lack of,will be posted..

Thanks for that info Stan. The pickup covers will be solved when I order..
I couldn't find any legs on the Rondo site.I'm hoping to find some at a low price, this just a project, not gonna be a work of art.
I have come up with a simple palm pedal idea that will be easy to make.
I'll probably remove the blend pot and replace it with a switch.Series/pararel..
No vol. or tone pots, because I will use a Fender vol/tone foot pedal..
Still haven't decided on a tunning..
Still looking for legs..
Thanks again... |

You can get replica legs here.
The seller's web page is here.
I've also heard that you can make legs out of Atlas mic stand parts, but haven't tried it.
Here's another source for legs, although you may have to replace the mounting brackets as well. |

Papa Joe,
If you find legs with 1/2" threads for less $$ go that route. You can get thread inserts at the hardware store for cheap to make the conversion or maybe use legs from a steel you already own ???
As Erv N. would call it, a "Stringbastard" project. Quite cool!
