Hey all...just wanted to announce the recent release of a very cool new CD from Heather Myles on Rounder Records, "Sweet Talk & Good Lies"
For those of us in the know, Heather is a true friend of real country music AND the steel guitar in particular. I know cuz she's employed at least a few of us forumites at one time or another. On this latest CD, our friend Gary Morse really lays down alot of great pedal and non pedal steel sounds! She even does a duet with Gary's boss, Dwight Yokum on one tune!
Her voice is absolutely stunning on this album! She's a truly gifted singer!
Pick it up, I'm bettin' you'll like it.
oh yeah BTW....your's truly gets to play some C6 on the last cut "Cry Me A River"  |

| Hey Rick, I took a closer listen to "Cry Me A River" and that's some mighty tasteful steel playing. Did you use a pedal steel on that cut? |

I was lucky enough to do a couple of UK BBC radio shows, and some live gigs, with Heather a few years back before I came to live here.
She was a delight to work with - the material was great, too.... |

Also at Nr 11 and moving up Roger Wallace/The Lowdown
