This is a party to celebrate all of us who are turning 60 this year. Music all day. I think the Geezers band will be playing at about 5. Hope to see a lot of my friends there.

Happy Birthday Bob! Is this an appreciation only event or will there any opportunities to play or sing with others? Seems like a pretty big dance card already (a very fun one).

I'm sure the sing-a-long is for the kids. Mr. Music will perform!

A couple of the bands listed are not real bands. The Country All Stars and Band'o'Geezers will probably be formed on the spot from whoever's there. The schedule is chaos.

Hey, it's free!

Thanks again for the invite Bob and happy birthday. This was a real fun event. Like I said to you Sunday, it's like an alternate parallel universe (one of many I wish I lived in!). Very creative and supportive people with a good cause. Here is a picture of you and the country band bringin' down the house.

Please keep me on that mail list!

Thanks for posting that picture, Scott.

Brad Cox captured the birthday cake ceremony on his iPhone and posted it to YouTube:

It was the best party I've been to in a long time!

Bob,
Being born in 1951, I'm about a year and a half behind you, but if I was still living in the area I would have loved to attend.
I'm glad you had such a super time.
